02Getting set up

Six steps, saved as you go

Nothing is lost if you stop halfway. Come back and pick up where you were. You go live once your KYC is approved and you have at least one package and real availability.

Your details

Individual or studio, your name, base location, years of experience, and a short bio. This is the profile customers meet.

KYC and payout account

Identity and bank details, submitted once and reviewed by our team. Approval is what unlocks going live — and what customers are trusting when they book.

03Studios only

Crew

Studios add each photographer on the team, with their role and specialities. Bookings and calendars run per crew member.

Portfolio

Upload your actual work. This is the first and largest thing on your profile — photos lead, everything else follows.

Packages

Name each package, set the occasion, the price, the duration, indoor or outdoor, and an itemised list of deliverables with a delivery window.

Availability

Set your working days and slots once as a recurring schedule; we generate 60 days of real bookable slots from it. Studios set this per crew member.

05The KLIQS Score

Your record is your ad budget

One number out of 100 on your profile, and it is what decides where you land in a customer’s results. You cannot buy it, and neither can the studio down the road — there is no promoted placement on this platform to outbid you.

Recalculated automatically every time a booking completes or a review lands. Studios carry a studio score plus a separate score for each crew member, so a strong shooter is visible in their own right.

Nobody can pay for it

There is no promoted placement, no boosted listing and no ad auction on MyShootMate. A photographer cannot spend their way to the top of your results, so a high KLIQS Score only ever means one thing.

Nobody can edit it

Not the photographer, not our sales team, not us. It is computed by the platform from bookings that actually happened, and it updates itself the moment one completes or a review lands.

The reviews behind it are real

Only the customer on a completed, paid booking can leave a review — one per booking, and it cannot be edited afterwards. There is no way to seed a profile with reviews from friends.

It is about the whole job

Stars alone tell you how a shoot felt. The KLIQS Score also counts whether the photos arrived on time, how often the photographer cancels, and how much finished work is behind the record.

Brand new? You have no score yet and you show as New, not as badly rated — an empty record is not a bad record. It starts building from your first completed booking.
